“My life has changed so much in the last ten years. It’s the year 2020 and I’m 23 years old. Three things that have happened to me in that time are that I’ve become a famous and creative interior designer, I have moved into a condo, and I live on the water. I work with cool patterns and turn ugly spaces into awesome spaces. Another change I have had is that I’ve moved into my own condo. And one last change I have had is that I moved so that I can live close to Lake Michigan and get creative ideas.”
“I learned a lot at school, but three things I learned at Gurrie really helped me in my life. The first class that helped me is Life Skills. Without it I wouldn’t know how to design or be creative and actually sew. The second thing that helped me was learning how to measure and calculate in math. And the last class that helped me with my career was English I learned how to use a computer and do cool things. I can now edit photos and cool descriptions about my work.”
“The world has changed a lot too! Technology is so different now; including water-generated cars - not only are they cool looking, they are also saving the environment at the same time. Also, there is solar power energy everywhere. There are solar panels on buses; there are panels on top of cars and roofs of houses and condos. This helps the environment so much.”
“I was recently invited to a Gurrie Middle School reunion and I’m excited to attend because I get to be reunited with my friends. I get to see people that I haven’t seen in a very long time like enemies, friends, or maybe even best friends. But also I get to discover what all those people became who they married if they became rich or poor where they are working now or what they work for.”
